Great looking Models everyone!!! the melting point lab questions are due next class as we discussed. Please keep up on your reading and working through the problems in the text, we will be doing a subtopic a day until the test.

HAPPY SPRING BREAK!!!!

Please finish the packet and do the modeling project. If you didn't finish the modeling in class, gumdrops and toothpicks make a good model set in a pinch. Also please finish the melting point mini-lab (if you didn't have a chance to see the melting in class do the worksheet anyway using the molecule I had assigned you, and we'll get you a chance to use the melt station after break). 

Long story short: Both the modeling project and the melting point mini lab are due right after spring break, no exceptions. See you soon. 

ps. I changed my mind and we will have a short quiz after break, covering everything we have done so far (using models). 

HW: finish the naming/structure drawing packet I gave you, remember not to stress to much over the few that may be super hard, as long as you can do most of it you should be good to go. I have posted a couple tutorial videos on the video page and below is the key to the packet.

Topic 9 test next class. grades are going in the gradebook today and tomorrow. If you are missing any labs get them in to me by the end of the week, I will not be accepting late labs after Friday. Also if you are an IB tester you need to get your lab work done by Saturday. Below is my availability in the classroom for getting labwork done.

Wednesday: after school late, I'll be here into the evening.
Thursday: AT and after school until about 4.
Friday: after noon until about 4.
Saturday: from about 1 to about 4.
THAT IS IT. NO MORE LAB TIME AFTER SATURDAY!!! FINAL LAB WRITE UP IS DUE MONDAY. 
It would be wise to have someone peer edit for you before you submit. I will have the assignment open on turnitin by Friday.
